Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif automatique pour appliquer un revêtement protecteur sur une électrode de graphite. Sur un socle 1, est monté un support 14 et sur son côté opposé des supports 4 portant des organes préhenseurs 6 retenant une électrode 17; des outils 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 traitent l'électrode qui tombe ensuite sur un support 20 et parvient dans la zone A2 d'un chariot 22 dont le déplacement avant-arrière permet d'amener une autre électrode 25 dans la zone de traitement. L'invention s'applique aux électrodes utilisées pour la fabrication de l'acier.
