Abstract

Diagnostic X-ray unit with lesser torsional stresses features a column pivoted parallel to the tube axis, and comprises a linkage to the plate holding the patient. As a result, the attachment in the leg frame eliminates torsion stresses from the plate. The patient holding plate (5) is movable on table frame (4) which has a horizontal pivot in the pedestal (2) and below the frame is the image intensifier (6) and the X-ray recorder (7) with a film changer. The column (8) carries bracket (9) for the tube (10) and is articulated in the frame with the horizontal shaft (II).
