Abstract

Ce dispositif comprend un carter 14, un arbre intérieur 20, cannelé à ses deux extrémités pour accoupler l'arbre de sortie d'un moteur 12 à l'arbre d'entree 11 d'une machine à entraîner. Un arbre extérieur 30 monté par des roulements 26, 32, sur l'arbre intérieur 20, un accouplement unidirectionnel 40 à béquilles interposé pour fonctionner entre les arbres 20 et 30 et un frein à disques 52 solidaires de l'arbre 30 en rotation et à disques 54 bloqués par rapport au carter 14, des ressorts 68, 69 qui tendent à serrer les disques 52 et 54 et un piston hydraulique 80 qui desserre les disques en présence d'une pression hydraulique en 83. Ce dispositif est particulièrement utile dans les grues et engins de levage. L'accouplement 40 laisse l'arbre 11 tourner librement dans le sens du levage. Combinée avec le frein, elle l'arrête instantanément lorsque le moteur 12 s'arrête. Le frein très progressif permet de laisser descendre la charge doucement pour la positionner avec précision.
