Abstract
Ce procédé permet de réaliser en grande série des joints tripodes à retenue axiale à grande rigidité et force de précontrainte déterminée, reproductible d'un joint à l'autre. Selon ce procédé, après avoir encliqueté l'attache élastique 18 sur la pièce 3. en forme de tulipe alors que le joint est en position assemblée, on détermine pour la position d'alignement du joint la valeur de l'intervalle existant entre l'épaulement 15 de la pièce de butée 12 et la surface d'appui 16 du moyeu, on écarte axialement la pièce de butée du moyeu, et l'on introduit entre cette pièce de butée et le moyeu une cale 22 dont l'épaisseur est choisie de manière à être légèrement supérieure audit intervalle.
