Abstract
Revêtement formé sur la surface d'un article, qui est chauffé en cours d'usage, pour obtenir une décomposition par oxydation catalytique de l'huile et de la graisse qui sont répandues. Le revêtement consiste essentiellement en une matrice poreuse d'un liant minéral ayant une surface rugueuse et comprend, sous la forme de particules uniformément dispersées, un catalyseur d'oxydation et une matière non décolorante, par exemple un ferrite, qui a l'effet de masquer un changement de couleur du catalyseur d'oxydation, résultant de son action catalytique. De référence, ce revêtement comprend en outre un catalyseur acide solide, tel qu'un zéolite et un catalyseur inducteur de décomposition, afin d'augmenter la possibilité d'auto-nettoyage catalytique à des températures relativement basses telles que 200 à 300 degrés C. Application aux ustensiles de cuisson.
