Abstract

Appareil pour le soudage d'un bouchon de fermeture 24 dans une tige de combustible nucléaire 22. Afin de positionner correctement la tige de combustible, l'on dispose d'un élément de butée 26 contre lequel est complètement engagé le bouchon de fermeture 24 lorsque la pointe d'électrode 28 et le joint sont placés dans les positions optimales pour permettre la réalisation de soudures de haute qualité. La communication est établie entre l'intérieur de la tige de combustible et l'installation à vide 86 qui peut évacuer l'air ou autres gaz de la tige de combustible 22 pendant l'opération de soudage, uniquement à condition que le bouchon 24 soit correctement disposé dans l'élément de butée 26; ce n'est que dans cette condition qu'un manocontact 90 sera actionné pour fermer un circuit électrique alimentant l'électrode de soudage.
