Abstract
The machine is used for capping sealed bottles and comprises a rotating ring (2) with several stations (1). As these pass under a selector plate, a cap is dropped into the corresponding recess (9) in the work station and rests on a segmented rubber ring (16). A spring loaded pivoting lever (23, 27) is closed over the recess by a cam (25, 26). The station rotates and stops over a bottle which is raisedby a ram, its neck entering the recess. Further upwards movement pushes the nect into the cap, a backplate (12) absorbing the thrust.
