Abstract

A mechanical transfer unit is used especially for bottles, which are moved from a filling arrangement to a closing machine. The filling machine is integrated with the closing machine and the combined arrangement is compact. The combined machine has a guide plate (1) of circular sector shape. This connects the turntable (4) of a filling machine (5) with the head (6) of a closing machine (7). It has a carrier plate (9) which is rotated horizontally about its vertical shaft (10) step by step. This carrier plate (9) has on its circumference several cancave seats suitable for gripping the bottles when they leave the turntable (4).
