Abstract

Cette fermeture se compose d'une plaque céramique de tête et d'une plaque céramique coulissante. Cette plaque coulissante se déplace, par l'intermédiaire de rails, sur des galets 12a, 12b, eux-mêmes disposés sur un châssis 10a, 10b, qui peut pivoter autour de l'axe 14a, 14b. La pression d'appui de la plaque céramique coulissante contre la plaque céramique de tete est assurée par des douilles 17 contenant des rondelles Belleville et collaborant avec des fermetures rapides 16. Le montage de la plaque céramique coulissante, presentant des possibilités de déplacement de réglage longitudinal et latéral et de basculement pendulaire, permet d'assurer l'appui de la plaque coulissante contre la plaque de tête malgré les imprécisions de fabrication. L'ensemble du châssis supportant la plaque coulissante peut basculer autour des axes 15, d'où une construction ouverte qui facilite le nettoyage. L'invention permet en particulier d'obturer les sorties inférieures de coulee des poches de coulée et de régulariser le débit de sortie du métal en fusion.
