Abstract

The piece of furniture consists of panels which can be assembled and dismantled. The back (2) of the furniture consists of a cross-wall which has two vertical sides (9, 10). The top and bottom (14, 15) surfaces of the back are bent first towards the front and then secondly towards the horizontal median plane of the back. Two side panels form uprights. At least two, top and bottom, shelves and the base rest on a bottom rigid shelf to stabilise the unit. Slanting U-shaped slots in the lower corners of the crosswide back wall form conical tabs to wedge the lower shelf against the lower surface of the back.
