Abstract

Dispositifs de réduction de bruit pour signaux stéréophoniques à plusieurs canaux. Ces dispositifs sont caractérisés en ce qu'ils comportent des voies de traitement de caractéristiques différentes pour les signaux principaux et les signaux composites, ainsi que des moyens pour rétablir, malgré les traitements différents effectués, la correspondance de phase entre les voies de traitement. Les signaux composites de faible amplitude peuvent être éliminés au cours de leur traitement et être remplacés par des signaux à faible composante de bruit pour reproduire l'effet directionnel. Applications principales à la réduction de bruit en réception stéréophonique en modulation de fréquence ou à la reproduction d'enregistrements quadriphoniques à quatre canaux discrets.
