Abstract

L'invention concerne un mécanisme de direction à crémaillère. Dans ce mécanisme, un pignon disposé sur la colonne de direction engrène avec une crémaillère placée dans un boîtier. La crémaillère 4 est montée flottante sur une tige de guidage 6 pouvant être reliée aux articulations axiales des tringles d'accouplement et est fixée par ses extrémités, au moyen d'éléments intermédiaires élastiques 9, à des butées 7, 8 solidaires de la tige de guidage 6. Application notamment à la direction de véhicules.
