Abstract

Boîte de jonction pour câbles téléphoniques ou électriques. Un manchon 10 comporte deux rebords 14 et 16 en saillie radialement qui serrent un joint d'étanchéité élastique comportant une barre intérieure rigide et, à chaque extrémité, une tige élastique venue de matière et pouvant être enroulée autour d'un élément cylindrique d'extrémité 18 correspondant, de façon que le serrage des rebords 14 et 16 garantisse l'étanchéité aussi bien de la fente formée par ces rebords qu'aux extrémités du manchon, le serrage étant effectué au moyen de brides de forme telle qu'elles assurent un serrage progressif. Application aux câbles souterrains.
