Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de purification de l'acide acrylique brut. Dans un mode de réalisation (figure) on obtient un acide acrylique très purifié contenant peu ou pas d'aldéhyde à faible point d'ébullition en éliminant les substances à bas point d'ébullition dans un tour de rectification 1 puis les substances à point d'ébullition élevé dans une tour de rectification 2, et en éliminant ensuite les aldéhydes à faible point d'ébullition restant dans le produit par extraction dans colonne 3 avec un gaz inerte introduit en 11, comme l'azote ou l'air, avec un rapport molaire du liquide au gaz de 2 à 20. Fabrication de poymères de l'acide acrylique utilisables comme floculants, additifs du papier, adhésifs, etc.
