Abstract
L'invention décrit un perfectionnement d'un procédé de séparation d'un gaz par absorption. Dans une seule colonne comportant des zones supérieure, intermédiaire et inférieure de contact gaz-liquide, on fait descendre un liquide pouvant absorber le constituant voulu dans la colonne (puis l'on régénère et recycle le liquide). En maintenant certaines valeurs de la température du liquide envoyé dans la zone intermédiaire et des facteurs de strippage, on obtient une concentration de crête du constituant voulu dans une petite section de la zone intermédiaire d'où l'on peut retirer le gaz souhaité. Application : extraction de gaz rares ou enlèvement d'impuretés soufrées ou radio-actives d'un mélange gazeux avant son évacuation à l'atmosphère.
