Abstract

Procédé d'enrichissement de particules de matière titanifère contenant deux composants, à savoir de l'oxyde de titane et du fer métallique. Les particules sont d'abord soumises à une opération de ségrégation, en milieu non oxydant et à température élevée de manière qu'au moins une partie du fer métallique soit soumise à une ségrégation en passant de l'intérieur des particules à l'extérieur, le fer métallique ainsi obtenu étant ensuite séparé des particules restantes. Domaine d'application : enrichissement des matières titanifères.
