Abstract

The drum carrier consists of a three piece frame (2) with the ends of the side pieces opened to take the forks (3) of a truck. Both sides of the frame are fitted with an angle bracket (11). The vertical plate of the bracket carries a spindle (8) whose inner ends are joined to a hoop (9). The hoop is closed by a strap (14) and bolt (20). The rear of the hoop has a steadying lever (28) joined to a frame and hooked under a catch (29) on the frame. The drum (100) may be up ended by means of the handles (23) on either side of the frame.
