Abstract
Appareil de sondage par ultrasons à sonde goniométrique. Les amplitudes des signaux d'écho sont enregistrées dans une mémoire comportant au moins un emplacement d'emmagasinage par point de réflexion de la zone sondée, chaque amplitude de signal d'écho étant enregistrée à l'emplacement ou aux emplacements correspondants condition seulement qu'une amplitude de signal d'écho supérieure n'y ait pas déjà été enregistrée. De ce fait, seuls sont enregistrées les amplitudes de signal d'écho significatives. Application à la détection de défauts d'homogénéité tels que paille dans une soudure.
