Abstract

Rotor de ventilateur à flux diagonal dont les pales présentent une surface développable. Les pales d'un rotor d'un ventilateur à flux diagonal devraient présenter, pour prendre une forme idéale sur le plan de la mécanique des fluides, une surface torsadée à double courbure non développable. La forme des pales obtenue, par la combinaison d'une surface cylindrique et d'une surface plane tangente à la précédente ou par la combinaison de deux surfaces cylindriques tangentes, est celle d'une surface développable dont l'effet aérodynamique est très proche de l'idéalité. On utilise à cet effet des lignes d'intersection, soit d'une surface cylindrique et d'un plan, soit de deux surfaces cylindriques, avec un certain nombre de surfaces coniques coaxiales imaginaires représentant les lignes de flux du ventilateur.
