Abstract

La présente invention concerne un piston pour un moteur à combustion interne à piston élévatoire à compression d'air. Ce piston se caractérise en ce que la paroi du volume de combustion présente dans sa portion A, qui s'étend entre la tête 6 du piston 1 et un emplacement prévu en avant du fond 7 du volume de combustion 5, au moins une cavité hélicoidale 8. Cette paroi dans la portion B se rattachant à la portion A, est lisse jusqu'au niveau du fond 7 du volume de combustion 5. Le carburateur est injecté par l'injecteur 4. L'invention permet la réalisation d'un mélange intense d'air et de carburant.
