Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé d'adsorption/désorption pour la production d'hydrogène à partir d'un gaz brut qui, en dehors de l'hydrogène, contient des traces d'impuretés fortement adsorba les et des constituants faiblement adsorbables en concentrations plus élevées, lequel procédé consiste à effectuer l'adsorption dans un premier stade de pré-purification VR et dans un second stade de purification principale HR, avec écoulement de l'hydrogène produit et régénération de l'adsorbant du premier stade par augmentation de la température et/ou lavage à la vapeur chaude, et désorption des gaz adsorbés dans le second stade par réduction de la pression, les deux stades étant soumis aux mêmes alternances de la pression, jusqu'à la contamination totale du premier stade.
