Abstract

L'invention se rapporte notamment aux têtes magnétiques multiples destinées à être associées à des supports magnétiques qui comportent plusieurs pistes magnétiques. Contrairement aux procédés connus d'empilage en superposition de têtes élémentaires rendant difficile 'obtention entrefers parfaitement réguliers en largeur, alignement et azimut, l'invention réalise simultanément toutes les têtes magnétiques élémentaires d'une même tête multipistes, à partir d'un bloc rigide de matériau composite, constitué d'une lame plane et d'épaisseur régulière 10 de matériau non magnétique insérée entre deux lames planes 21, 22 de matériau magnétique. Les têtes magnétiques sont dégagées par un usinage en << peigne >> 6, 7, 8, qui maintient leur solidarisation définitivement, selon le contour 31 conduisant à des entrefers alignés, et identiques en largeur et azimut. L'invention est applicable à toute tête magnétique multipistes, mixte ou non, associée à tout support magnétique défilant comportant une ou plusieurs pistes.
