Abstract

Système destiné à l'injection de combustible dans la chambre de combustion 16 d'un moteur, comprenant un injecteur 10, une pompe 25 fournissant du combustible sous pression à l'admission 14 de l'injecteur et des moyens pour fournir une petite quantité de combustible en avance par rapport à la quantite principale. Ces moyens comprennent un piston 17 monté coulissant dans un cylindre qui comporte à une extrémité une admission reliée à la chambre de combustion 16, une sortie à l'autre extrémité reliée à l'admission 14 de l'injecteur et une soupape 21, 23, 24 actionnée par le piston 17 et montée entre la pompe 25 et l'admission 14 de l'injecteur, laquelle soupape reste fermée jusqu'à ce que le piston 17 se trouve à ladite autre extrémité du cylindre, le piston étant déplacé vers cette extrémité pendant la compression de l'air présent dans la chambre 16, ce déplacement provoquant le refoulement du combustible vers l'injecteur pour déclencher la combustion.
