Abstract

L'invention concerne un dispositif d'épuration des gaz d'échappement d'un moteur à combustion interne avec un catalyseur et une sonde O2 . Selon l'invention le dispositif d'épuration est caractérisé par le fait que les conduits d'échappement de chaque cylindre ou les collecteurs d'échappement de groupe de cylindres sont disposés séparément jusqu'au-delà du catalyseur et que la sonde O2 est placé directement après le dernier coude d'échappement, de façon telle qu'elle soit, malgré tout, alimentée par un mélange gazeux représentatif de tous les cylindres. Application à l'industrie automobile.
