Abstract

Precise doses of a liquid are extracted using nitrogen gas to pressurise it for extraction. The operation is manually controlled to produce spray effect. The tail of a valve (1) has a diffuser (3) to produce spray. This tail is attached to piston (4) by cylindrical element (5) which moves axially in cylinder (13) with inlets (15, 16) which communicate with a channel (24) and tubular channel (23) in contact with liquid (30) under pressure from gas (31). In the neutral condition gas forces liquid into cylinder while in operation the piston (6) travels down to cover inlet to provide dose.
