Abstract

L'invention a trait à un appareil d'usinage par enlèvement de matière de pièces à tourner. Un tel appareil est équipé d'un outil dont les mouvements d'avance sont assurés par un servo-moteur commandé électriquement, constitué par un moteur à bobine électromagnétique mobile ou un moteur à couple. Application notamment au tournage de pièces présentant des profils longitudinaux s'écartant de la forme circulaire parfaite et éventuellement aussi irréguliers.
