Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé de préparation de matières plastiques thermostables, présentant des groupes isocyanurate, par polymérisation de polyisocyanates organiques en présence de catalyseurs accélérant la trimérisation des groupes isocyanate, éventuellement en présence de monomères oléfiniques insaturés polymérisables et/ou de composés organiques présentant des groupes époxy et/ou de quantités en défaut, par rapport aux groupes isocyanate des constituants polyisocyanate, de composés présentant des atomes d'hydrogène réactifs vis-à-vis des groupes isocyanate. Selon ce procédé, on utilise, comme constituant polyisocyanate, un mélange d'isomères et/ou d'homologues de polyisocyanates de la séne du diphénylméthane, dont la teneur en 2,4'- diisocyanatodiphénylméthane est supérieure à 20 % en poids.
