Abstract

L'invention concerne une machine d'étirage-emballage. Selon l'invention, elle comprend une unité motrice 12 se déplaçant autour du matériau 16 à emballer; une unité d'étirage-emballage 14 montée sur l'unité 12 pour enrouler une pellicule d'étirage-emballage provenant d'un rouleau 22 autour du matériau 16 tandis que l'unité motrice se déplace autour du matériau; un moyen de propulsion 34 et un moyen de guidage 54, 56, 62 sur l'unité motrice pour respectivement la propulser et la guider par rapport au matériau à emballer, au moins l'un des moyens sollicitant l'unité motrice vers le matériau à emballer. L'invention s'applique notamment à la manutention.
