Abstract

Pharmaceutical compsns. contg. a pyrimido pyrimidine deriv. (I) and acetyl salicylic acid (II) or its salts are new: In (I) R1 and R3 are amino, opt. substd. by (hydroxy)alkyl, R2 and R4 are amino opt. substd. by (hydroxy)alkyl or where the N atom forms part of a 5 or 6 membered heterocycle which may contain further hereto atoms such as O and S. The compsns. increase blood platelet life. they are useful in the treatment of myocardial infarctus, cardiac insufficiency, and chronic angina.
