Abstract

Dispositif automatique de détection et de localisation en continu des défauts sur les faces des masses métalliques rectilignes. Invention caractérisée par une tête de détection équipée d'au moins quatre ensembles capteurs, entraînée en rotation rapide au-dessus de la surface à contrôler, tête portée par un support mécanique articulé roulant sur ladite surface et maintenant entre elle et les capteurs, un espace constant. La détection aux arêtes s'effectuant par l'intermédiaire d'ensembles capteurs à détecteur central face au plan d'arête et par deux émetteurs latéraux parallèles aux faces adjacentes, capteurs associés à des circuits de traitement et d'analyse des signaux. Cette invention intéresse les industries métallurgiques et les entreprises fabriquant du matériel pour celles-ci.
