Abstract

Faults on surface of a product are detected and then analysed by electronic circuits. Data is stored in memory for microprocessor control of the repair equipment. Signals from fault detectors are passed through filters (1) and sampling circuits (2) which are controlled by a synchronisation circuit (3). Analogue to digital convertors (4) apply the sampled digital signals via shift registers (5) to buffer memories (7) where a data transfer module (8) applies the data through a central memory (10) to a microprocessor (9), which drives a control assembly (13) for the repair equipment (14).
