Abstract

L'invention concerne la formation d'images photographiques négatives. On expose un matériau photosensible comprenant un support enduit d'une émulsion à l'halogénure d'argent contenant des grains d'halogénure du type à image latente superficielle, cette couche d'émulsion ou une autre couche colloïdale hydrophile, contenant un composé R 1 NHNHCOR2 où R1 est un groupe aryle, R2 est un hydrogène ou un groupe phényle ou alkyle, et on développe ce materiau photosensible en présence d'un composé thioamido. Ce procédé permet d'obtenir des images à contraste très élevé en utilisant un révélateur stable.
