Abstract

The remote control for the headlamp setting has a servo pressure source linked to the headlamp controls via a pressure modulating valve. The valve controls the pressure in simple slave membrane cylinders which are directly linked to the pivotted headlamps. The slave cylinders have the membrane separating the servo pressure from atmospheric. No complex linkage is required between the slaves and the lamps, nor any pressure compensation between the two slaves.
