Abstract
A piston (5) separates two pressure chambers (11, 12) to which electromagnetic control valves (32, 34) are connected via conduits (31, 33). These valves are controlled by a current from a control unit (C) and are connected to a reservoir (22). The chambers are also connected via conduits (25, 28) through anti return valves (27, 30) and throttle valves (26, 29) to a pressure source. The throttle valves each comprise a stop or variable throttle valve which are operated by differences of pressure in the conduits when the control valves are closed. Actual pressure is detected and compared with a nominal value in the control unit.
