Abstract

1314793 Hydraulic motor control circuit ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 18 May 1971 [7 July 1970] 15472/71 Heading F1P In an hydraulic circuit controlling a single acting ram 13 connected by a single line 44 to a three position distributing valve 39, the outlet line 37 from the valve 39 is connected to reservoir 36 via a valve 25 controlled by the supply pressure in supply line 18, the valve 25 closing the outlet line in the event of a loss of supply pressure. Valve 25 comprises a spool 24, Fig. 3 movable against a spring 26 by the supply pressure admitted from line 18 to connect line 37 to drain via chambers 23, 22 and line 19, a throttle passage 34 admitting pressure fluid to the right hand side of spool 24 from which it is vented via line 32 and distributing valve 39 when the latter is in the 'lower' 43 or neutral 41 position. Rightward movement of spool 24 also connects line 18 to drain via ports in the spool 24. When distributing valve 39 is in its 'raise' position 42 it closes vent line 32 which results in equalization of the pressures on each side of throttle 34 and spool 24 moves to the left, isolating both supply line 18 and outlet line 37 from drain line 19. A pressure relief valve 17 is included in the circuit.
