Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un véhicule automobile à siège escamotable comportant au moins un siège dont l'assise est reliée au dossier de manière permanente et articulée et à la caisse par des biellettes ou une manivelle. Selon l'invention, le plancher du véhicule comporte une portion horizontale 1a propre à servir d'appui à l'assise 3 et prolongée à l'avant par une portion 1b dirigée vers le bas; l'axe de liaison 5 du dossier à l'assise est indépendant de la caisse de façon à pouvoir librement se déplacer par rapport à celle-ci; les biellettes ou la manivelle 6 reliant l'assise à la caisse sont articulées sur les parois latérales de cette caisse en des points 6a situés dans un plan vertical passant approximativement par l'arête de liaison 1c de la portion horizontale du plancher à la portion de celui-ci dirigée vers le bas; le dossier 4 du siège est relié à la caisse, de manière amovible, par des biellettes ou une manivelle 10.
