Abstract

a. L'invention a pour objet une cellule d'électrolyse à diaphragme. b. La cellule comprend une alternance d'anodes et de cathodes fixées respectivement à deux faces opposées de la cellule. Le diaphragme est formé d'au moins une feuille poreuse en polymère fluoré non traitable à l'état fondu, qui est raccordée à des supports supérieur et inférieur au moyen de bandes en polymère fluoré traitable à l'état fondu, fondues sur les bords de la feuille du diaphragme. c. L'invention s'applique notamment aux cellules à diaphragme pour l'électrolyse de saumures de chlorure de sodium equipée d'un diaphragme en polytétrafluoréthylène.
