Abstract

Perfeccionamientos en los electrolizadores, del tipo que comprende un cátodo de mercurio que fluye sobre una superficie en pendiente y separada de un ánodo por un diafragma, siendo el cátodo, el diafragma y el ánodo aproximadamente paralelos, caracterizados porque el electrolizador comprende una pluralidad de canales paralelos en pendiente suave, en los cuales el mercurio que forma el cátodo fluye longitudinalmente sin pasar de un canal al otro, estando dichos canales desplazados verticalmente los unos con respecto a los otros de forma que la distancia entre el mercurio y el ánodo permanece aproximadamente constante en toda la anchura del electrolizador.
