Abstract

La présente invention concerne une composition de verre non-poreux contenant une matière radio-active enrobée et immobilisée dans la matrice de verre. Cette composition est caractérisée par a au moins 75 moles pour 100 de SiO2 , b une activité de rayonnement supérieure à environ 1 millicurie par cm**3 de la composition et c une haute durabilité chimique en solution aqueuse. Application à la fixation de matières radio-actives.
