Abstract

On fait passer un fil 38 contenant des fibres de kératine et humidifié dans le bain 36, à travers un tube flexible 26 et en faisant tourner le rotor 12 qui supporte des rouleaux rotatifs 14 on astreint le tube, pendant le passage du fil, à une température de plus de 30 degrés C, à subir des déformations alternatives. Le tube 26 est en polyuréthane. Le fil gonflant obtenu, notamment en laine, peut être utilisé pour la fabrication de tapis et autres articles textiles.
