Abstract

La présente invention a pour objet un procédé de matériau feutré à retrait notablement réduit et à surface texturée ondulante Selon l'invention, pour produire un matériau feutré contenant au moins 20 % de fibres de laine et une proportion de fibres artificielles, on carde et mélange les fibres, on produit une nappe et on soumet celle-ci à un foulage et/ou à un foulonnage suffisants pour produire un tissu feutré, on soumet ledit tissu feutré à une opération de séchage dans des conditions telles que les dimensions du tissu peuvent changer, de façon à produire, lorsque le séchage est terminé, un tissu pratiquement totalement relaxé qui, dû aux différents taux de retrait différentiels des fibres composantes, présente une surface texturée.
