Abstract

L'invention concerne des compositions additives améliorées pour huiles lubrifiantes. On stabilise les copolymères d'éthylène et d' alpha -oléfines utilisés comme additifs améliorant l'indice de viscosité des huiles lubrifiantes par incorporation de N,N'-bis(hydroxy-2 alkyl-5 benzyl) alpha , omega -diaminoéthane dont les radicaux alkyles comportent 4 à 30 atomes de carbone ou d'un sel de métal basique correspondant. L'invention s'applique en particulier à la stabilisation des copolymères d'éthylène et de propylène ayant des poids moléculaires de 10 000 à 50 000.
