Abstract
L'invention concerne un four pour le traitement thermo-chimique de métaux tels que de l'acier ou des alliages d'acier, par bombardement ionique. Ce four comprend une structure telle que l'on puisse porter et maintenir le gaz sevant au traitement à une pression très basse, ainsi qu'au moins une anode et plusieurs cathodes sur lesquelles on peut disposer les pièces à traiter, ladite anode et lesdites cathodes étant reliées à au moins une source d'alimentation. L'invention s'applique au traitement thermique des métaux.
