Abstract

The additional glazing is for windows or combined windows and doors, having a rectangular wooden frame of trapezium section (8). The frame has a groove (15) in the inner face, accommodating a pane (14) and a sealing joint (13). Its face towards the window has a first slot (11) containing a further sealing joint (12), and a second slot at each corner for an angle piece holding the assembly rigidly together. The frame hinges on the window along one side, and locks to it at the side opposite the hinge. The groove accommodating the pane and seal can be of rectangular section.
