Abstract

The system is for glazing windows or openings in doors, the pane being secured in a groove by means of a profiled rubber strip. A groove is first formed in three sides of the opening in which the pane is to be fitted, while in the fourth side a slot (6) is formed, running to the edge of the door (2). A pane (7) is inserted in the opening via the slot, its dimensions being >= those of the opening, and secured in position by an elastomer filling (8). The slot is finally filled with material (9), which can be removable if desired. The elastomer filling can be a strip on each side of the opening.
