Abstract

Procédé et installation de fabrication de clinker faiblement alcalin à partir d'une matière première renfermant des composés alcalins. Au moins une partie des gaz renfermant des composés alcalins s'échappant de l'étage de frittage est mélangée dans l'étage de préchauffage aux gaz brûlés sortant de l'étage de désacidification et le gaz mixte sert ensuite au traitement thermique de la matière première, cependant que l'autre partie des gaz renfermant des composés alcalins s'échappant de l'étage de frittage est éloignée du processus de cuisson. L'installation comprend au moins un cyclone de préchauffage 4, 5 avec un appareil de calcination 10 précédé d'un four tubulaire tournant 1 suivi d'un refroidisseur de produit 28, le four 1 et l'appareil 10 étant reliés au refroidisseur 28 du côté des gaz chauds, le four 1 étant relié de plus, par au moins une conduite 6 à l'atmosphère et, par au moins une conduite de gaz d'échappement 8, au cyclone de préchauffage 4, 5.
