Abstract

Procédé pour le traitement thermique de ciment cru à teneur alcaline dans une installation de production de ciment, dans laquelle la matière est préchauffée dans un préchauffeur et dirigée dans un refroidisseur après frittage dans un four, l'air exempt d'alcali qui s'échappe du refroidisseur étant amené au préchauffeur en vue du chauffage de la matière, cependant que les gaz à teneur alcaline sortant du four sont refroidis dans un échangeur de chaleur par addition d'une fraction du ciment cru et que les sels alcalins ainsi condensés sont séparés dans un appareil dépoussiéreur. Un courant partiel des gaz à teneur alcaline s'échappant du four et amenés à l'échangeur de chaleur est dérivé en amont de ce dernier et évacué de l'installation, de préférence après un dépoussiérage, en contournant l'échangeur de chaleur. Installation pour la mise en oeuvre de ce procédé.
