Abstract

A small tank (15) has two inlet pipes (14) one for hot water and the other for cold water. A mixing tap is fitted inside the tank and the temperature of the water coming from the outlet (22) can be controlled by the external lever (26). The internal tap is actuated by the push button (21) which operates a siphon inside the tank. This allows the water stored in the tank to flow out. Once the tank is empty the flow ceases and cannot be turned on, until the tank is refilled. The device ensures economy in the use of water and is particularly useful in public lavatories.
