Abstract
Roue d'inertie plus particulièrement adaptée à l'application spatiale qui peut en être faite. Elle comporte en combinaison, d'une part, un moteur 2 périphérique à aimants permanents sur le rotor et enroulement sans fer au stator dont le courant est commuté électroniquement par un système 18 à 21, 22, 22B à modulation d'amplitude associé à un circuit à variation du coefficient de self et dont l'inversion du sens de rotation est effectuée par permutation des circuits de commande; d'autre part, des paliers 5, 6 constitués par des dispositifs de centrage magnétique radial passif et axial actif redondant asservi à un détecteur de vitesse axiale 7. L'invention peut être utilisé dans la conformation d'une roue de réaction ou d'une roue d'inertie.
