Abstract

The continuous envelope is made up of a top sheet which has side perforations (15) to allow the sheet to be fed through filling machines. Each envelope is partly separated from the adjacent one by a transverse slot (18) for easy final separation. The bottom sheet includes adhesive strips so that the top sheet can be applied to it to close the envelopes into the predetermined sections. The envelopes may be used for outward and return postings by arranging address windows in one panel and may be stacked in concertina piles before dispatch.
